Costa Cruises and Iberocruceros integrate their operations in Spain

Two of the three brands in the Costa Group operateing in the Spanish market, Costa Cruises and Iberocruceros, have integrated their operational structures, maintaining independence and personality. "This is a decision that creates a very solid group that have the experience and expertise of both brands in their specific segments," the CEO far Iberocruceros, Alfredo Serrano, who will lead the group in Spain. The executive added that "at a time of general economic difficulties, the integration is being developed with all the professionals that are currently part of our squad."

"Our priorities are to maintain the satisfaction of our customers, strengthening our leadership position and increase our ability to grow," continues Serrano. Finally, he said that both brands "continue to be as distinct as before, covering virtually the entire range of products for all audiences, but offering a single contact for the market."

For the CEO of Costa Cruises, Bernard Echevarria, who will command the new structure, this operation is "created with the aim of offering two excellent complementary products, with maximum facilities and opportunities to market." In this regard, stresses the "strong commitment of the company to travel agents, as this new structure represents a great opportunity to better serve those who have always been our strategic partners."

"We strongly believe in this new model that determines a strong growth strategy in Spain," he says. Furthermore, he claims that "we will work to strengthen our relationships with travel agencies, our strategic partners in this journey." In his new role will support Echevarría commercial directors of both brands, Pedro Costa and Carlos Lopez, in addition to the current members of the business staff.
