Costa Cruises exclude Ports in Egypt

The winter program of Costa Cruises will be changed: the ports of the Red Sea in Egypt and in general will be deleted .

The decision comes because of the unstable political situation that still is featuring Egypt and therefore, to avoid any problems the company has decided to change all of their winter itineraries, already proposing some alternatives.

Anyone who has  booked a cruise with a stop in the Red Sea (the one starting on November 11, 2013) may decide to change destination, since Costa Cruise organized the re-routing on board the ship Costa Fortuna, for 7-day cruises from Dubai .

cruises instead predicted that stops inAlexandria and Port Said (those served by Costa Pacifica and Costa Serena) will instead a change of course, with longer stop at Ashdod and Haifa, Israel. Costa Cruises , however, specifies that, in the case of favorable changes in the situation in Egypt such as to allow the restoration of conditions of security for travelers, the routes for Mar Red and Egypt will again be restored to the winter programming company. So the situation is evolving but the company remains at the disposal of its customers to offer assistance, relocation on other cruises and further clarification.
