Near Piraeus Greece on US-flag ship Alliance Norfolk fire has broken. Officials said that after the fire has broken, firefighting ships joined the operation. Ship carries 23 crew members and 5 passengers and was scheduled for a route from United States to Saudi Arabia.
The ship belongs to Hoegh Autoliners AS, a unit of Oslo- based Leif Hoegh & Co. (LHO)
Cargo vessel was transporting cars and other goods.
The cause of fire is not yet clear.
