The opening of the newly remodeled ship will be set for early 2013 in Penang and will be traveling to Krabi, Phuket, Singapore, Ho Chi Min City, Nha Trang and Hong Kong.
Star Cruises is taking one of their ships and upgrading it with all the bells and whistles. The formerly known Norwegian Dream will be refitted with navigational systems, new hull design and onboard facilities, to include cabins, restaurants, entertainment venues, as well as retail outlets. This ship will be transformed in a totally new category and join the Super Star Virgo, Super Star Aquarius, Super Star Libra, and Super Star Pisces under the new name Super Star Gemini in the Asia Pacific region.
The opening of the newly remodeled ship will be set for early 2013 in Penang and will be travelling to Krabi, Phuket, Singapore, Ho Chi Min City, Nha Trang and Hong Kong. The ship will perform 26 cruises from Sanye to Danang, Halong Bay and Hong Kong, before it relocates to Shanghai in the summer of 2013. From there it will have series of voyages to Japan and South Korea and will also charter special cross-Strait itineraries from Shanghai to Taiwan.

The Super Star Gemini will accommodate 1,532 passengers at full capacity who will be able to enjoy the new interior of the ship equipped with the latest designs of Asian restaurant, a karaoke room, spa, beauty salon, kids’ playroom, and swimming pool, as well as several duty-free shopping outlets.
