The German Olympic cruise ship MS Deutschland, who will be used as a floating hotel during the games has arrived in London.

The German Olympic cruise ship MS Deutschland, who will be used as a floating hotel during the games has arrived in London. This is the biggest ship yet to that has sailed in West India Dock. With inches to spare MS Deutschland fitted into the lock in the Docklands.

Gareth Stephens the trust’s harbour and waterspace manager, , said: “During the Olympics, West India Dock is going to be at its busiest since its days as a trading port.

“We believe this summer will showcase London’s docks as a great location for visiting vessels in the future.”

“The docks are truly coming back to life and by tomorrow (July 27) you’ll see cruise ships, super yachts and large sailing ships here.
