Big time for Carnival Freedom Crew. Carnival Freedom will undergo an extensive cleaning after ship is reported to go in Code Red with GI symptoms. Ship is returning this Sunday in Port Everglades. Now it’s up to management and especially crew to bring things in ship shape with Bleach 1000ppm and Microbac.
In order for the ship to be thoroughly cleaned Carnival will start Sunday embarkation at 1:30 pm. Carnival Freedom is originally scheduled to set sail from Port Everglades at 4:00pm but this will probably be delayed for a couple of hours due to cleaning procedures.
Norovirus spreads fast on a cruise ships because of the closed environment and contact like hand shake or touching infected surfaces. Also there is possibility of airborne of the virus usually from vomiting. Best solution to prevent spreading norovirus is not by using hand sanitizer but washing hands with soap and warm water. Some symptoms of norovirus are vomiting, fever, headaches, and fatigue.
