Greek Special Forces Conduct Antiterrorist Exercise on Cruise ship

Terrorists set cruise ship  on fire and then banked by inflow. Mobilized all security forces of the island by land, water and air resources for the rescue of the passengers and arrest the terrorists. This was the scenario of the exercise preparedness called "Dorieus 2014 ' taking place on the cruise ship« Louis Olympia »in the port of Rhodes, Greece. Exercise was held successfully and in accordance with the provisions of the International Convention "on the safety of human life at sea" to the preparedness of all agencies and services that provide assistance to people in distress at sea. In this exercise took place teams of the fire department, the special forces unit of submarine forces, the EKAB, the Red Cross and the super puma airforce. Present at the exercise was the Minister of Marine and Aegean Varvitsioti Miltiades, and representatives of local authorities and officials of relevant departments. Upon completion of exercise followed event in the ship, which rewarded players who contribute to the development of the cruise, and others who offer services and search and rescue work which, among other things, has a humanitarian character .Exercise and the event was organized by Cruise Ship Owners Association and Bodies Shipping (EEKFN).
