Inter Miami CF is ushering in a new era as they partner with Royal Caribbean International for the upcoming 2024 season. The world's largest cruise line will feature as the Official Jersey Partner, with the La Noche away kit displaying the company’s crown and anchor logo. The unveiling event took place on the world’s largest cruise ship Icon of the Seas, with Mario Lopez, Royal Caribbean, Inter Miami executives, and fans in attendance.
Fans can purchase the La Noche jersey with the crown and anchor logo starting tonight at 9 p.m. EST on MLSStore, and it will be available for sale on the Icon Of the Seas starting February. Royal Caribbean Group President and CEO, Jason Liberty, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting shared values of dreaming and determination.
"Both Royal Caribbean Group and Inter Miami share the values of dreaming and determination – and the highs of the unbelievable moments when those dreams come true. It's exciting to now combine forces, and I can't wait for the future that our two organizations will forge for our industries, for our fans around the world, and of course, for our local communities here in South Florida," said Jason Liberty.
Inter Miami CF Chief Business Officer, Xavier Asensi, highlighted the significance of the partnership between two South Florida-based powerhouses committed to their community. The reveal of the new front-of-jersey partner and the La Noche kit, inspired by Miami's vibrant nightlife, follows the August 2023 announcement of the partnership. The collaboration spans on various platforms, including stadium LEDs, in-match content, fan zone activations, as well as social and digital platforms. More initiatives, both in the local community and on Royal Caribbean ships, will be unveiled at a later date.
In a dual celebration, Royal Caribbean introduced its newest cruise ship Icon, with a naming ceremony featuring world-renowned football player Lionel Messi. Messi officially named and bestowed safekeeping onto the world's biggest cruise ship and its crew. Debuting on January 27, Icon offers a unique combination of resort, beach, and theme park experiences, making it the cruise line's best-selling ship. With record-setting waterslides, multiple pools, family-friendly amenities, diverse dining options, and more, Icon promises unforgettable experiences for families and vacationers.
