It's official! Princess next ship will be named Regal

The 21st century brings forth innovation and novelty in any branch of mechanical, electronic, and technological engineering.  The cruising industry is staying true to this tradition of innovations and novelties, thus it presents a large pallet of new cruise ships for people around the world to enjoy the all-inclusive vacations.

Same goes for Southampton cruise ship operator, Princess Cruises, who finally have revealed the name of the second of its generation of ships designed for the purpose to represent the innovative novelties of the 21st century.  Princess Cruises dub the new vessel Regal Princess as the class of Royal Princess, which officially will be named in Southampton next year.

The official debut of the Regal Princess is estimated for spring, 2014, one year after her sister ship has been presented to the world on her first debut.  The new 141,000 ton ship will be designed to spoil some 3,600 passengers and probably half as many crew members.

Among her highlights, the new Royal Princess will offer:

  •     An even larger and expanded atrium with additional entertainment and casual dining options.
  •     The SeaWalkSM & SeaView Bar – a first-of-its-kind enclosed walkway extending from the ship’s top deck and a port side cantilevered bar, each with glass floors and sweeping ocean views.
  •     A new upper-deck pool exclusively for adults, featuring plush private cabanas
  •     Our largest top-deck pool ever, offering another Princess first -- a dazzling evening water and light show
  •     An enhanced Movies Under the Stars® screen - our largest yet!
  •     Balconies on all outside staterooms
