A New Jersey resident is charged with two counts of stealing by the Bermuda Court of Justice. William James Mullen, a 46-year old, pleaded guilty of stealing spa products onboard Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas worth $2,799 and using stolen Sea Pass Card from another passenger to purchase goods at the on-board gift shop.

Mullen and his wife visited the spa for massage on September 10. After the treatment he was left unsupervised for some time and at this time he stole expensive spa products.
Next day Mullen purchased two bottles of cologne worth $136 with a stolen Sea Pass card from another passenger and signed the bill on that name.

Ship security was notified about this incident and immediately informed the Bermuda officials because at that time the ship was in Bermuda territorial waters.
Police authorities boarded the ship in King's Wharf on Wednesday and searched Mullen's cabin where they found the stolen goods. Police arrested Mullen and took him to the Magistrates' Court where he plead guilty.

Duty counsel explained that Mullen is kleptomaniac, which is why he was compelled to steal the items.
Mullen was removed from Explorer of the Seas and he is not going to be able to leave on the ship so he will have to find another way to go back home.
Bermuda Court ordered Mullen to pay immediately a fine of  $2,000 for each count of stealing.
