Teenage girl sue Carnival Corporation for 75.000$ for strip search by security on board Carnival Sensation. The 17 year old girl who was traveling on a four day cruise was searched in her stateroom after security found a bag with green leaves in elevator that the teen was rideing in on board the vessel.
According to the lawsuit the security strip searched the teen and made her take out her underwear. After that they watch her while she urinates and also made her take out her tampon. After the incident teen and her mother was passed to Bahamian authorities where they spend one night in cell together with adult women where she was assaulted.
Carnival statement says: "The claim that the plaintiff was strip searched is patently false, and obviously made in retaliation for the cruise line disembarking the plaintiff and her mother part-way through the voyage in Nassau where the plaintiff was taken into custody by the Bahamian police."
