49-year-old man sexually assaulted 15-year-old boy on Mariner of the Seas.

A 49-year-old citizen of Tucson, Todd Eric Nordahl will face the US federal court on Thursday after he was arrested in Galveston for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy on the RCCL cruise ship Mariner of the Seas.

Todd Eric Nordahl was arrested when Mariner of the Seas returned to Galveston, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced Wednesday afternoon. 

Federal officials said Nordahl allegedly provided alcohol to the victim and purportedly made sexual advances toward him on 27th March. He knowingly engaged in sexual contact with a boy he knew to be a minor, according to the criminal complaint in the case.

Federal officials said a Royal Caribbean security officer contacted the FBI to report allegations made by the boy.
