In a response to the article “Most Annoying Things Cruise ship Passengers do in the Dining Room” lets look on the other side
Here are some of the most annoying things waiters do in dining room from a guest point of view.

1.    Making faces when guest orders something off the menu or likes to combine some dishes.

2.    Take away your plate if your friend or someone else in your party is still eating, or vice versa. Slow eaters feel rushed when waiter takes rest of the plates of the table from the guests that have finished.

3.    Removing the plate at the same time that you ask if guest is done. Please ask before acting.

4.    Chewing gum. There is nothing worse than your waiter walking up to your table looking like a cow chewing cud.

5.    Forgetting to bring drinks ahead of the meal.

6.    Forgetting to bring sauces with the meal or altogether

7.    Touch your plate, glass or spoons and forks all over.

8.    Ask questions while food is in your mouth.

9.    Giving you too much attention, including asking you about the food or service or your needs and talking to you a lot while you try to focus on eating or while you try to talk to the people you came with.

10.    Asking “Are you still working on that? ”Am I still eating this, you mean? Cars and conquering their anger issues are just two examples of things people work on. Food (the consumption of it, at least) is not on that list. May you take my plate away? Now that’s something I’ll consider.

11.    Interrupt your conversation to ask if everything is alright.

12.    One who doesn't ask or refill coffee.
