MSC Cruises introduces new, Internet rates

MSC Preziosa and MSC Divina are currently equipped with the new technology, which other ships in the fleet are to follow in the coming weeks.Technically, MSC is providing Internet with satellite service provider Marlink and its Service Cloud Sealink. With this technique, the Internet access on board wlan to be not much cheaper but also faster.

MSC follows with this significantly more modern Internet tariffs compared to the previous, expensive minute billing by other shipping companies like AIDA ,Costa , Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean International or Disney Cruise Line, which has for some time cheaper, volume-dependent tariffs or Social -Media flat rates.

MSC passengers will be able to choose between three Internet packages on board:

Social Media: 3,90 Euro per day or 14.90 euros for a full 7-night cruise. Thus, social media services such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, Pinterest, Snapchat, We chat or Whats App can use indefinitely on a single device.

Surfer: 9,90 Euro per day or 29.90 euros for a full 7-night cruise. Also included is unlimited use of social media services such as the social media package, but up zuzwei devices, additional 170 MB per day or 800 MB per week included data volume for other Internet usage, which convenient for retrieving e-mails, surfing and sufficient for reading messages.

Streamer: 19,90 Euro per day or 59.90 Euro per 7-night cruise. Included is the social media usage and unlimited 340 MB per day or 1.5 GByte per week data volume, in which collective audio and video services are enabled, such as IP telephony or Youtube.
