NCL received the World Travel Award as "Europe's Leading Cruise Line"

The annual awards, whose twentieth edition was held in Antalya, Turkey, were handed over to the travel companies that are able to offer a unique experience to the customers, voted by travel agents and consumers around the world. Norwegian, which has received this same award in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, for the second consecutive summer has been in Europe with four Freestyle Cruising ships, providing a series of cruises from four to fourteen nights, and next summer will be still active in Europe with four ships. 

Francesco Paradisi, Senior Manager Business Development at Norwegian Cruise Line, received the award at the gala ceremony which was held in Antalya, August 31, 2013.

Le European cruises of Norwegian allow guests to visit the most beautiful places in Europe in a short period of time. Of the four ships present in European waters during the summer season, two have engaged in Europe throughout the year. During the winter season 2013/14, the Norwegian Spirit cruises from Barcelona and Malaga will have as a goal Casablanca, Morocco, Madeira and Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, while the Norwegian Jade will be divided between Eastern and Western Mediterranean cruises with 10 and 11 nights from / to Civitavecchia (Rome). 

The largest ship of Norwegian so far, the Norwegian Epic, sailing in the waters of the western Mediterranean during the summer season, allowing passengers to explore destinations such as Pisa, Palma, Barcelona and Pompeii travel 7 nights from Civitavecchia. In 2014, Norwegian Epic will offer this route numerous times between May 14 and October 15. 

Among other vessels engaged in Europe in the 2014/15 season, also the Norwegian Jade, which offers summer itineraries of 7 nights in the Greek Islands and in 'Adriatic, departing from Venice, the Norwegian Spirit, committed in the Mediterranean with 12-night cruises between Barcelona and Venice, and the Norwegian Star, with departures from Copenhagen at the time of the Baltic Capitals.
