The Ukrainian government is interested in promoting its tourism through the development of a cruise industry which would give passengers opportunity to visit Odessa, Sevastopol, and Yalta.  With connection to this, the vice president of RCCL, Mr. Craig Maylen, met with the minister for infrastructure from Ukraine, Mr. Borys Kolesnikov.  Maylen is interested in these ports and discussed their future.

This meeting was held in the headquarter offices of RCCL in Miami, FL where the parties discussed the potential and different possible issues connected with the future of Ukraine and the cruise industry, such as a necessary upgrade of the ports in order to accommodate larger cruise ships and so on.
