Ricardo Amaral is the New Vice President of Royal Caribbean for Latin America

Ricardo Amaral was promoted to Vice President of Royal Caribbean for Latin America. He received the promotion because of his results obtained in Brazil and the region. The promotion is part of a restructuring of Royal, with a focus on international markets, which now represent 50% of total sales.

"I am delighted with this new opportunity and proud to see Brazil in a prominent position on the international scene and the company's operations worldwide," said Amaral.
Amaral is in Royal Caribbean since the opening of the office in Brazil in 2009, when he assumed the general management for the country. "The new job or promotion reflects the importance of the market for the company," he said.

Ricardo is a graduate of Brazilian Integrated College Hebrew Renaissance, class of 1991. In 2002, he became master in tourism from University of São Paulo (USP) in 2009. His Ph.D. in Communications with a focus in Public Relations, Advertising and Tourism.
