Royal Caribbean Ranked No1 by Market 21

Royal Caribbean has been ranked first among national cruise lines in the use of advanced marketing, according to a market report presented by Market 21, a leading marketing agency in the use of advanced marketing tools.

Celebrity Cruises, owned by the Royal Caribbean, ranked second among cruise lines and Azamara Club Cruises, was first among the luxury lines together with Seabourn. Several other lines were leaders in specific areas, but Royal Caribbean registered a strong performance in all scores in general. They will have to remain on guard to keep their innovations against competitors like Crystal, Norwegian and Disney.

Marketing analysis has compared 12 cruise lines on 18 criteria to determine how to involve the use of current technologies and their readiness to move to new technologies as they are developed.

The report highlights the strengths and weaknesses of each of the lines and the potential opportunities for both individual lines and the industry as a whole. Reaching customers in the way that is expected, it is important for them, as well as expand its customer base.
