Vietnam is Becoming popular Cruise Destination

The arrival of thousands of tourists on board luxury cruise on Halong Bay heat up the festive atmosphere of the North Vietnamese province of Quang Ninh in late.

It is estimated that in the newly opened cruise season from November 2012 to April 2013, the famous Bay vessels will receive 145 international tourist trips.

The arrivals announced the travelers from emerging markets in Asia, especially from China, in the last months of 2012 and marked a significant growth compared to the previous year, according to statistics from travel agents.

Besides the beauty of a world heritage and one of the seven natural wonders of the world, Ha Long has a geographical advantage because of its proximity to China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan, the main tourist markets of Asia.

Due to the economic crisis in Europe and America, long trips are reduced and therefore, the cruise companies focus on Asian markets, especially in China and Hong Kong.
The five-star cruise ship SuperStar Aquarius of Star Cruise Malaysian shipping company  this year increased the frequency of their trips to Ha Long two to three times a week.
