Voyages of Discovery to Add Second Ship

Its maiden voyage is scheduled in 4th of December from London to Barbados after which ship will start its regular voyages in South America.

After extensive refurbishment a 540-passenger cruise ship Voyager will join Voyages of Discovery’s fleet in December. Its maiden voyage is scheduled in 4th of December from London to Barbados after which ship will start its regular voyages in South America. Voyager formerly known as Alexander von Humboldt was purchased by All Leisure Group back in 2009 and has received technical upgrades.

This ship will feature 270 staterooms, open seating in two dining rooms and one specialty restaurant with pre-bookings and no extra charges.

Other improvements in the ships features classic piano bar, a terrace with an all-weather dining area, digital media players in each stateroom, new decor and upgraded furnishings in public spaces, a new library and selection of books and a bridge club that can also be used for guest speakers.
Voyager itineraries are particularly interesting, visiting Chilean fjords, wildlife on Peninsula Valdes, the glacial landscapes and the cities of Santiago and Buenos Aires.
