Carnival Breeze New Policy

Carnival Breeze implemented new system against selfish and inconsiderate passengers, which will be incorporated fleet wide.

Carnival are getting serious about inconsiderate passengers who leave personal items on the sun beds in the morning, so they can use them in afternoon.

Carnival Breeze implemented new system against selfish and inconsiderate passengers, which will be incorporated fleet wide.

On many cruises ships is not unusual to see early risers place personal items in entire rows of sun beds near the pools and other places of the cover even though they will not use the chairs for hours. As a result, the remaining passengers often do not find a seat.

Carnival Cruise Director, John Heald, announced on his Facebook page that the cruise line will start a new policy that is similar to that used with the parking spaces by strict regulation. The staff will place labels on the sun loungers identified with the current time. If chairs are not yet occupied after 40 minutes, employees will collect the towels or personal belongings and leave note explaining what has happened.

Carnival is trying to crack down on cruisers who keep the sun beds all day while other passengers who want to enjoy on open deck are left wandering around the pool in search of free spot.

At this time the new policy is tested on the Carnival Breeze, but Heald says the change in the rules will be deployed throughout the fleet once these preliminary tests have been carried out and adjusted.
