Celebrity Cruises has presented more details of the new ship Celebrity Reflection. The ship is still under construction at Meyer Werft shipyard, and will set sail on its maiden voyage in October 2012. Equipped with many innovations first in the cruise industry has just introduced its glass-walled shower with exceptional view.
The shower is part of all the Suites Reflection. These 147 square meters suites can accommodate up to six people. They have two bedrooms, a balcony of 17 sq.m. and a corner of the suite allows for a particularly impressive bathtub and rain shower outdoors, ultimate expression of "modern luxury". Under this slogan sums up everything that Celebrity Cruises does as a cruise brand with high quality reference.
Senior Vice President, of Hotel Operations for Royal Caribbean, Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, said "We have spared no effort to combine a unique experience to shower with sea views respecting the needs of our customers in order not to compromise confidentiality. Thanks to the reflective glass used, guests are not visible from the outside. Additionally, it introduces a new technology that offers guests the chance to turn translucent glasses to clear by a simple touch of a button. Furthermore, this may even be in automatic mode, so once it detects the passenger enters the shower and put the glass in translucent mode.”
In addition to the Reflection Suite on Deck 14, Signature Suites have been incorporated and can accommodate four or five people. They cover about 40 square meters of space plus a balcony of about eleven square meters. The suites are distinguished from others by its large windows and balcony doors, promising a spectacular sea view.
Two new concepts of suites also include butler service - every day, anytime. Other features include mattresses whose hardness can be adjusted individually with an iPad. Access to this area is reserved exclusively for guests of the suites, so that a maximum of 26 people can enjoy a private atmosphere in the spacious feel of Celebrity Cruises.
Celebrity Reflection will depart on its maiden voyage of nine days cruise from Amsterdam to Barcelona.
