Costa Cruises Signs Agreement with Singapore Companies

Costa Cruises signed an agreement with Singapore's tourist office STB and Changi Airoport Group to exploit the potential of tourism in Asia.  Costa will offer Asian itineraries onboard Costa Victoria in 2012 and sail for South Asia starting next May with Singapore as a base port and the Atlantic Coast in 2013.

Marketing campaign is launched in the Asiaian-Pacific region to promote cruises departing from Singapore. Costa also  launched advertising campaigns, product seminars for partners in the travel industry and catalogs in several markets, including Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and India.

The president of Costa Cruises, Gianni Onorato, said they are committed to a long term relationship that will exploit future growth of the cruise industry in the Asian region. The CEO of Changi Airport Group, Lee Seow Hiang, said that this partnership between CAG, Costa Crociere and STB represents efforts to work together on growth segment in Singapore Fly-Cruise noting that Changi Airport has connections to more than 200 cities worldwide.
