Cruise Ships Change Itineraries Due to Strike in Europe

Cruise lines announced adjustments to their cruise itineraries in major ports in Europe due to three days strikes in Portugal, Spain and Greece. Starting from tomorrow, November 14, most of the air travel and public transportation will be disrupt by this general strike, making almost impossible for cruise ships to dock in the major ports in southern Europe. So far three cruise ships who are affected by this strikes announced changes in their itineraries.

Royal Caribbean Independent of the Seas will skip the port of Lisbon on November 14 and will stop in Lanzarote, Spain.

Celebrity Constellation, will skip Vigo, Spain, on November 14 and will spend a day at sea instead. Constellation will visit Portugal on November 15 and will dock in Vigo on November 16.

Seabourn Legend will visit  Palma de Mallorca toady instead on November 14.
