Isola del Giglio asks for 80 million euros in damages by Costa Cruises

The preliminary hearing judge Peter Molino di Grosseto began the proceedings pending in the Modern Theatre of Grosseto for the processing of requests for trial against Francesco Schettino and other five suspects made by the public prosecutor of Grosseto at the end of the investigation on the sinking of the ship Costa Concordia.

In this phase, the preliminary hearing judge will have to decide on the positions of the six suspects: the same Schettino, and his deputy on the bridge Ciro Ambrosio, the officer Silvia Coronica, the helmsman Indonesian Jacob Rusli Bin, l '"hotel director" Manrico Giampedroni and the coordinator of the emergency unit of the Costa Cruises fleet, Roberto Ferrarini.
