Missing Carnival Freedom Passengers Found in Jamaica

Police say 45 year-old Donald Henderson, 43 year-old Maria Henderson and 21 year-old Aja Henderson were located Friday at a villa in the north coast tourist town of Discovery Bay.

Three U.S. citizens who where  reported missing after disembarking from a Carnival Freedom in Ocho Rios on Thursday have been found in good health and unharmed. Jamaican police found them at a villa in Discovery Bay, approximately 40 minutes west, on Jamaica's northern coast.

Police say 45 year-old Donald Henderson, 43 year-old Maria Henderson and 21 year-old Aja Henderson were located Friday at a villa in the north coast tourist town of Discovery Bay.

Jamaican authorities had classified the disappearance as a missing persons case, saying it was odd that the family took all of their belongings off of the ship before vanishing. The family has no known ties to anyone in Jamaica.

It was not immediately clear why the family left the ship and never returned. They are in the custody of Jamaican police and will be questioned about their mysterious departure. Police say arrangements are being made for the Americans' return home.
