Norwegian Cruise Line to Enter Chinese Market With New Ship

Norwegian Cruise Line will introduce a customized ship to enter the Chinese market in 2017. Still unnamed, the cruise ship is in construction period, designed specifically for the Chinese market, with accommodation, cuisine and experiences on board that cater to passenger preferences. "Our ship to China will have characteristics that are authentic to the Norwegian Cruise Line and yet distinctly Chinese in all its sensitivity. We will offer a superior product and introduce a new standard for innovation and excellence to the market, with unrivaled level of customization to the Chinese consumer, "said CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line, Frank del Rio. The new cruise shuip will be the second Breakaway class Plus, it has 4200 passenger capacity, and present the cruise style known as Freestyle Cruising. The Chinese will enjoy a holiday experience along the lines of a resort with the flexibility and freedom to enjoy the time as they please, with the Cantonese, Mandarin and continental, world-class entertainment, shopping in luxury shops and activities to the sea. To better serve the expansion in China, the Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings opened three offices in Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai. This cruise ship will be delivered in spring 2017. The Norwegian Escape, the first vessel Breakaway Plus, will be ready to enter the seas from Thursday (22). NCL also has two liners planned for 2018 and 2019.
