From the Past into the Future
The 296-passenger Silversea Cruises’ Silver Cloud went under a three-week makeover which brought this cruise ship back from the past and into the future. The makeover took place in the shipyard in Palermo, Italy and it included a new contemporary décor for the passenger areas, as well as a nice lift up for the guest cabins.
Now, the ship’s lobby says nothing other than “welcome” with its warm and earthy colors which transfer throughout most of the vessel. Unlike the most of the vessel, the bars have been remodeled with calm and suiting cool palette of colors which brings about more enjoyment for the passengers who want to relax and enjoy a nice and sophisticated beverage.
Other places which have been remodeled were the Panorama Lounge, the Le Champagne restaurant, the La Terrazza eatery, as well as the Pool Bar and the Grill. The Panorama Lounge received new furniture, carpet, curtains, and reconditioned wood flooring, while the Le Champagne restaurant received a brand new entrance, backlit wine displays, new seating layout, wood flooring, and window treatments. The La Terrazza was updated with fully remodeled buffet area, while the ship’s outdoor was fully reconfigured.
