Preliminary Plans for Titanic 2 Revealed

Titanic II will have nine decks and guests will be divided in three classes with the highest first-class, second-class and third and last crew.

Blue Star owner Clive Palmer, has revealed the preliminary plans of the ship Titanic II made by the Finnish company Deltamarin.

Titanic II will have nine decks and guests will be divided in three classes with the highest first-class, second-class and third and last crew.

Professor Palmer in his presentation said, having the plans for the Titanic II for Blue Star shipping line represents an important milestone for the project. "These plans highlight the commitment of Blue Star for the project on the Titanic II" Palmer said.

Main areas of the ship, will to stay the same like the original. The preliminary plans show the original separation between the first, second and third class. These separators will remain on the ship said Palmer.

Titanic II will be compatible with all security regulations in the construction of the new vessels. Security features will be inserted between sections D and C and there will be lifeboats for all, safety ramps, slide exit routes. Also added escape stairways, elevator service and the ship will be fitted with a fire extinguishing systems.

Preliminary plans redefine the crew areas and accommodation making them more comfortable and spacious.

The final design is subject to approval by the board of Blue Star lines.
Titanic II will be ready to sail by the end of 2016 with initial route from China to England. After the ship will made the original voyage from Southampton to New York.
