R. Kelly Cancels his Cruise Ship Concert

Concerts Cruise LLC has been unable to meet its financial obligations to a scheduled cruise with featured performer R. Kelly

R. Kelly Love Letter Cruise organized by Concerts Cruise in Association with Bling1 Entertainment is canceled. Cruise that was scheduled on Carnival Destiny on Oct. 1, 2012 was canceled because concert's promoter failed to pay him for the gig.

Kelly's spokesman said, “Concerts Cruise LLC has been unable to meet its financial obligations to a scheduled cruise with featured performer R. Kelly and will therefore have to cancel this cruise. R. Kelly had been looking forward to the cruise and was ready, willing and able to perform for fans. He is sorry for any disappointment but plans to see his fans very soon on a U.S. tour. Ticket holders should contact Concerts Cruise LLC to handle refunds.”

R. Kelly's cruise was scheduled to leave Miami and make stops in Grand Turk and several locations in the Bahamas.

The singer, known for hits like I Believe I Can Fly and The World's Greatest, came in the news recently because of his huge tax debt of $ 4.8 million.
