November was a month bursting with events and activities at Royal Caribbean International. It began with the grand opening of the $125 million, 161,334-square-foot Galveston Cruise Terminal, the first LEED Zero Energy facility in the world, generating 100% of the energy by onsite solar panels. The Allure of the Seas stole the show by hosting Leadership Conference and Trade Event with more than 3,500 top Travel Partners and members of the Press.
After three years, since the start of the pandemic, RCI hosted its Annual Royal Caribbean Leadership Conference for all Hotel and Marine Operations teams.
This was an opportunity for Captains, Hotel Directors, and Chief Engineers to reunite from around the fleet. Shoreside leadership shared the vision, strategies, and TRIFECTA commitments for 2023 and beyond, with insight on product development, marketing and revenue, destinations, human resources, operations, and so much more. Equally important was to recognize the great achievements of the last two years, and how it would not have been possible without the grit and dedication of all shipboard teams.
At the event Royal Caribbean hosted a friendly racing competition with F1 race simulator donated by Red Bull. The top five race scorers won a race simulator for their ship.
Congratulations to the Top 5 Scorers who earned a Red Bull F1 race simulator for their crew recreational areas!
