Seven Seas Mariner visiting Cascais Sea Fest

The 'Seven Seas Mariner' arrived today to the Bay of Cascais, the first of the 11 luxury cruises that are planned by the end of 2013 in a project that aims to give an important boost to the local economy.

This marks the start of a new tourism service resulting from a project that won the 2010 Ideas Competition and Business by the company  the 'King's Coast'.

"Arrival of this ship coincides with the Sea Fest, so passengers and crew will be able to visit Largo Town Victoria and Viscount Garden of Light. In addition they will have opportunity to sample the local cuisine", highlights the Chamber of Cascais, in a statement.
 
The former Boyzone frontman, Ronan Keating performed the opening act on the Sea Fest which will be held from 17 to 26 August.
Cascais  invested lots of effort and money to bring the best to the locals and the tourist visiting this place.

After Royal Caribbean Seven Seas Mariner, the Bay of Cascais will receive on September 9, the' Star Flyer', with 170 passengers and, in October, the' Seadream I ', with 112 passengers.

In November  this year is expected the arrival of  three cruise ship and for 2013 are confirmed ten more cruise ships, including luxury liner 'The World.'
Altogether, more than 3,200 are expected to visit Cascais from August to November 2013.
