Three P&O Cruise Ships will Set Sail Around the World in 2014

P & O Cruises will offer three world cruises in 2014, visiting 81 unique destinations in 41 countries...

P & O Cruises will offer three world cruises in 2014, visiting 81 unique destinations in 41 countries and covering 97.834 nautical miles. Arcadia and Aurora will perform complete world tour, while Adonia will sail specifically in Asia, with a rich itinerary.
There are seven new ports of call on these cruises, including Hoi An in Vietnam, Puerto Princesa, Philippines and Yangon in Myanmar (Burma).

The 92 nights with prices starting from £ 7899 for Arcadia cruise pose a cruise shorter than many other full circumnavigation of the world, offering a cost effective way to travel and still docking at major ports, according to P & O UK.

The Aurora is a classic cruise ship and is ideal for families. With 109 nights, the ship spends more time in Asia and Africa.

The Adonia is the smallest ship in the fleet and, as such, can travel less visited ports. Five of the seven new ports for 2014 are unique and Adonia world cruise will have 112 nights in total.

Beside this three world cruises, there are 16 trips to and from Australia and New Zealand onboard Aurora and Arcadia.

Around the World in Arcadia leaves Southampton on January 10, 2014, sailing westward through the Caribbean and the U.S. west coast before going through the islands of Australasia, islands of French Polynesia, and then to Indonesia, India, the Middle East and the Mediterranean.

The Around the World cruise on Arcadia comes just a month after the ship returns from a 17-day dry dock in Germany. The Arcadia is complete with new furniture and carpets in the rooms, public spaces, bars and restaurants, cabins - including the Ocean Grill by Marco Pierre White. In addition, renewed the show lounge The Globe and sound equipment in the Palladium theater.

The World Cruise onboard Aurora leaves Southampton on January 4, 2014, also by sailing west across the Caribbean and San Francisco before going through to Honolulu Asia, New Zealand and Australia, through India and South Africa.

The Asian Adonia Adventure departs from Southampton on January 7, 2014, sailing east across the Mediterranean and the Middle East before a full tour of Asia.

Ports of call include Petra, Malacca, Manila, Hiroshima, Hong Kong, Sihanoukville, Langkawi and Mumbai. The new ports of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates, Rangoon in Burma, Port Blair in the Andaman and Nicobar in Kuching Borneo and Puerto Princesa, Philippines. Port Said (Cairo and the pyramids), Dubai and Safaga (for Luxor and the Valley of the Kings).
