Tokyo Star Chef on Crystal Symphony

The Tokyo Star chef, Luca Fantin, from the 5-star "Bulgari Ginza Tower Il Ristorante", is added as an invited expert to the Jan. 17 Crystal Cruise themed Wine & Food. The Crystal Symphony cruise "Koalas and Kiwis" browsing through some of the most popular destinations in Australia and New Zealand, as the cities "Top 10" Lonely Planet Newcastle and Wellington. Fantin joins the esteemed culinary master Chef Damien Pignolet, wine expert Eugenio Jardim, and Master Mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim, featuring onboard culinary enrichment on the area visited.

Fantin’s  contemporary Italian cuisine and Japanese pedagogy, combined with the Australian-French fusion Pignolet, reflect international influences found in Aussie-Kiwi food. Combined with creative cuisine and Crystal's own Japanese-Peruvian cuisine of Master Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, guests find themselves in an eclectic but incredibly sophisticated blend of flavors. The two chefs will offer practical instruction in the preparation of some of their specialties, cooking demonstrations and dinner menus especially designed to select the Crystal Dining Room. The wine expert, Jardim, lead pairing and tasting sessions and Abou-Ganim bartender cocktails perfect show to prepare at home.
