Tourist Arrested Trying to Board Splendor of The Seas with LSD

Brazilian Media reports that the Federal Police seized 193 points LSD from a tourist in the Passenger Terminal in the Port of Santos, on the coast of São Paulo. The passenger wanted to embark on a "rave cruise ", on the Royal Caribbean ship Splendor of The Seas. Another 15 people were fined, but could move on.

 

The seizure is the result of the operation "Lifeguard," which was performed during the boarding of the cruise ship. According to police, the man was arrested and taken to the Police Headquarters in Santos to await the outcome. If it is determined possession of narcotic substance, the man is apprehended for drug trafficking because of the amount seized. In addition to LSD, police found marijuana, ecstasy and inhalants among the passengers who wanted to get on the Splendor of The Seas.

 

The substances were collected and taken for analysis. Participated in the operation "Lifeguard " was the Federal police and military, as well as sniffer dogs.

 

Theme cruise will be held on the 7th edition of the MOB Festival, dedicated to fans of electronic music. There will be three nights of travel, with 22 national and international guest stars. Altogether, 1,940 people boarded the ship. The cruise destination is the city Búzios, in Rio de Janeiro.
