AIDA Cruises Announces Recruitment Campaign

AIDA Cruises announced job openings with excellent opportunities in an international working environment, combined with the opportunity to pursue a career with the company and discover the world.

The onboard career opportunities ranges from the hotel industry (e.g. bar, reception, kitchen, restaurant) to wellness and activities (e.g. cosmetics, hairdresser, SPA, fitness) to looking after young and old guests. But AIDA Cruises also offers attractive jobs for professional groups that are not necessarily associated with cruises, such as media designers, lighting, sound or event technicians. The offers are not only aimed at qualified specialists and managers. The cruise company also opens up a wide range of career opportunities for motivated career changers and young professionals.

With the newly created and eye-catching recruiting campaign, AIDA Cruises arouses curiosity about the jobs on board, including digital displays in relevant travel environments to reach people interested in travel. In addition, in four cities (Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Stuttgart) high-coverage station videos and side window posters are placed to address users with slogans such as “You don’t have to be an influencer to get paid for travel” during commuting times. LED walls around the headquarters complete the campaign.

Alexander Ewig, Senior Vice President Marketing at AIDA Cruises, says: "We developed the campaign in-house and want to use cheeky headlines to arouse interest in a job with a sea view."
