Oktoberfest celebrations aboard AIDA ships have become a highly anticipated tradition, and this year’s festivities are no exception. While the Bavarian AIDA Special aboard AIDAprima is just around the corner, from September 14 to 21, 2024—featuring acts like Mickie Krause, the Hermes House Band, and voXXclub—the next big party is already open for booking.
In 2025, the fun is set to get even bigger as AIDAnova takes center stage. Just one week before the official Oktoberfest kicks off in Munich, the AIDAnova will host a cruise from September 13 to 20, 2025, bringing a true festival tent atmosphere to the high seas. The "O’zapft is" Cruise will sail from Kiel to Bergen, Nordfjordeid, Ålesund, and Stavanger, offering passengers a Bavarian-style celebration like no other.
One of the biggest highlights of the cruise is the appearance of DJ Ötzi & Band. The Austrian superstar, known for his hit “Anton aus Tirol,” has been thrilling fans worldwide for 25 years with his mix of pop, dance, and party anthems. Now, he’s bringing his stage presence to AIDAnova for a show to remember.
But the entertainment doesn’t stop there. Julian Sommer, a rising star on the music scene, will be performing alongside legends Klaus & Klaus, and Anna-Maria Zimmermann, the reigning queen of the party circuit. Add to that the daredevil musicians from Styria, the high-energy Rotzlöffl, and DJ Jonny Beach, and you’ve got a lineup that guarantees an unforgettable party atmosphere.
Beyond the music, guests will enjoy a full program of Bavarian fun, including arm wrestling competitions and the chance to savor authentic white sausages. AIDA’s onboard brewery will be serving up its own special brew, the AIDA Zwickel, along with a promotional beer made with seawater and brewed according to the German Purity Law. Guests can even participate in a brewing seminar, sample beer paired with tasty snacks, and earn a brewery diploma at the end.
And what’s an Oktoberfest without delicious Bavarian food? Guests can indulge in classic dishes like pork knuckle, sausage salad, and Obazda, all while enjoying the freshly tapped beer from the onboard brewery.
