Last week the port of Southampton witnessed a special rendezvous of Cunard’s three Queens. After a day in the harbor in the evening, all three ocean liners were accompanied on their way to the Isle of Wight by a spectacular flight show of the RAF Red Arrows squadron.
The best places to be was aboard the Cunard fleet, where guests were able to experience the spectacle above their heads on the open deck with a live commentary on deck.
This was a truly spectacular aerial display in Southampton by the Royal Air Force Aerobic Team with a display of a flying formation above Cunard’s three queens—Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth.
The sendoff salute marks the first time in Cunard’s history that guests had the opportunity to see the Red Arrows flying while onboard.
