Anthem of the Seas Crew No Longer Required To Wear Masks in Crew Areas

Great News coming from the Anthem of the Seas with the announcement of more relaxed operation for the crew. Starting from today July 25, the crew are no longer required to wear masks in the crew areas. Royal Caribbean has reviewed the protocols for the ship after all the crew was fully vaccinated and approved to change the set of protocols.

Crew masking requirements

Crew is no longer required to wear a mask in crew areas. Wearing masks in guest areas, operations area,s or when attending to Guests' needs remains mandatory. If visiting medical facility crew must wear mask as a precaution. Crew members vaccinated with less than 14 days of their last dose must still wear mask everywhere.

New and improved Crew Dining Experience with self-service

All buffets and beverage stations will now be self-service during this relaxed operation. Crew vaccinated with less than 14 days after the last shot must wear masks except when actively eating. The social distancing and frequent washing aspect still applies in order to maintain an healthy environment.

Anthem of the Seas is the first Royal Caribbean cruise ship to restart cruise operations in the UK in more than a year.  The ship is sailing four-night ocean getaways and 5- to 8-night British Isles cruises from Southampton with stops in Liverpool, Belfast and Kirkwall.
