Authorities Find 24 Pounds of Cocaine Onboard Jewel of the Seas, 7 People Arrested

Seven people aboard Royal Caribbean Jewel of the Seas were arrested yesterday while the ship was docked in San Juan, Puerto Rico. According to Yahoo News all seven were arrested after U.S. authorities found 11 kilograms (24 pounds) of cocaine while the ship was getting ready to set sail on eight-day cruise. 

The cocaine was found by the K9 dog doing cabin inspection onboard Jewel of the Seas on Sunday said U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials.

Royal Caribbean spokeswoman said that the company is cooperating with the U.S. authorities and that six of the arrested people were U.S. passengers. The seventh person identity was not immediately clear.
