Behold the Future Virgin Voyages Cruise Ship

During inaugural keel laying ceremony held today at the Fincantieri shipyard in Genoa, Virgin Voyages released rendering photos of their first cruise ship. After lots of planning and design, the latest in a series of reveals took place with this milestone ceremony.

Promising to make waves in the cruise industry the ship will enter service in 2020. According to the statement, Virgin Voyages will bring a new attitude, style, and vision to the world of cruising. Using “business as a force for good” will be company’s main philosophy, aiming to be the best in class with social impact and crew well being. 

Virgin Voyages journeys will bring a unique Virgin Style to the seven seas – and not just for the 2800 guests sailing on board, but also for the 1150 crew members who will make amazing happen.

Virgin Voyages Logo Revealed

The Cruise Company revealed the official logo which will be painted on the hull. Mermaid with golden hair and long red tail holding a red banner with the well-known Virgin logo will be official logo of Virgin Voyages. Inspired by the traditional bows from ships of yore, the mermaid will be ship’s muse. The soul of the voyage. The feminine spirit of the ship.

Revolutionary Ship Design

Designed with the glitter and glam of a yacht, the ship’s livery stands out on the high seas. The unique level of sophistication paired with an unapologetic aire of mystery will distinguish itself from other vessels. A design meant to excite and inspire people to want to explore every corner and sail on board.
