This year the cruise companies have worked very hard to surprise cruise lovers with great April fools pranks. Aldo we love to see some of this innovations in reality we are far from getting there.

On 1st of April, Carnival Cruise Line has announced construction of submarine as part of their fleet for ocean deep-sea exploration. Releasing this cool photo of submarine with Carnivals unique funnel they say: 

“Since our beginning, Carnival has been a pioneer in high seas travel. We are therefore proud to announce the newest vessel to our Australian fleet, a world-first in ocean tourism. Welcome to the next generation in cruising – Carnival Submarine.”

Royal Caribbean released rendering photos of their space cruiser named Orbiter of the Galaxy. The company said that the spaceship will be ready to take first passengers in 2030 for space exploration. The company has released this cool photos of Orbiter of the Galaxy interior and exterior on their website saying “Cruisers can expect all the usual features, with a space-age twist”.

Another cool prank was repainting of Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 hull in green color. Apparently this design was inspired from the past, as Caronia was the first Cunard ship to be painted green when she entered service in 1949.
