Carnival Cruise Line announced a new Miami-inspired themed area named after the company's original headquarters address, 820 Biscayne, and will be aboard Carnival Celebration, the company's newest ship arriving at PortMiami in November.
“Miami has been our home for 50 years, and by bringing a new ship to its port, we wanted to show a little more love to the city that helped make us who we are today. Carnival Celebration will celebrate all things Carnival, interweaving where we've been with where we're going, and we can't think of where we started without thinking of Miami and all the fun it represents,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.
The space will celebrate the culture, architectural styles and flavors of the hometown where the line was founded in 1972 and will be located on Deck 8, the same location as La Piazza on sister ship Mardi Gras.

Miami is a one-of-a-kind city with many different sides, so we tried to capture all of that at 820 Biscayne, from the tropical feel and original Art Deco designs that can still be found in Miami Beach today to the modern look from the city of Brickell and of course with a huge emphasis on delicious flavors everywhere,” said Ben Clement. , senior vice president of new construction, rehabilitation and product innovation.

Throughout 820 Biscayne, guests will experience a unique take on Miami, blending elements of its past with its present, from beautiful artwork to fun photo opportunities, like posing with flamingos on skateboards, guests will feel like they really are. walking down the '305'.
Guests can still expect to find their favorites in the area, such as Rudi's Seagrill, which was featured at Mardi Gras, and Cucina del Capitano, which will be redesigned with a new look that reflects the elegant and spacious restaurants often found in Miami, I eat well.
Carnival Celebration will be the second Carnival ship to be powered by a liquefied natural gas (LNG) system, part of Carnival Corporation's green cruise platform, and will include an award-winning roller coaster on top of the ship.
