Carnival CEO Donald Arnold wants to change company culture

Donald Arnold, CEO of Carnival corporation, aims to change the culture of the group to improve the reputation of the company. The President of  Carnival Corp., Arnold Donald, outlined a new plan to change the company, which is negatively marked by the accident with the ship Costa Concordia, January.

The company , which owns a total of 10 brands, including Holland America, Carnival Cruise Lines, Princess Cruises and Costa Cruises, will change the current culture which allows each transaction to act alone, thus causing mismatch of information.

Donald told reporters that one of the major changes in its management operations will join the group so that they work together, to communicate and collaborate with each other.

"We will change the culture of the company, because the marks were extremely independent in the past and protecting each information, it will not happen anymore, "said the executive to the international press during the dissemination of results of the fourth quarter.

Donald said that he will make every effort to reduce the company's expenses and that, unlike management, corrections in the way employees work will occur gradually and scale.

 

"The changes in the way we work will occur in scale. Small changes add up, gradually, significant results, "said Donald.
