Carnival Conquest in Dry Dock

The New Orleans-based Carnival Conquest is undergoing a two-week, extensive Fun Ship 2.0 dry dock in Freeport, The Bahamas. The work is part of Carnival’s $500 million upgrade of its fleet.
The changes will include Guy’s Burger Joint, developed in cooperation with Food Network personality Guy Fieri; an EA Sports Bar; and the poolside RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Tequila Bar.

Carnival Conquest dry dock started on Oct. 14 and the ship will return to Port of New Orleans on Oct. 28.Carnival Cruise Lines announced that Conquest will reposition to Miami in November 2013 sailing a week long eastern Caribbean cruise to Nassau, St.  Thomas, San Juan, and Grand Turk and western Caribbean cruise to Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize, and Mahogany Bay.
