Following Celebrity Cruises' return to South America for the 2022-23 cruise season, Celebrity Infinity will also bring back Celebrity Cruises to Antarctica.
Over the next few days, the ship will offer cruises around Paradise Bay, Gerlash Strait, and Elephant Island as the first Celebrity ship to visit the continent since early 2020.
Continuing its current program in South America, Celebrity Infinity will offer additional voyages to Antarctica and other routes to Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile until April. Before ending the region's winter season, the ship will also offer a one-way cruise to Brazil.
The 1,950-guest ship will then move to Europe with a 13-day transatlantic crossing to Portugal. It is planned to start the year-long program in the Mediterranean in May.
As Infiniti spends the winter in Europe, the Celebrity Eclipse will be moved to South America for the 2023/24 season. Beginning in December, the larger Solstice-class ship will offer a total of 12 cruises in the region, including four 14-night Antarctic cruises in January and February. Other destinations to visit include Patagonia, Drake Passage, Falkland Islands, Chile and Brazil.
