The Cruise Lines Regent Seven Seas and Oceania Cruises have confirmed that they replaced visits in some Greek islands during the autumn due to the refugee crisis underway in the region.

Regent Seven Seas alter the route of the ship Seven Seas Mariner and instead of visiting the region of Mytilene made navigation around the islands in the area without coming to port. Oceania Cruises has confirmed that their ship Oceania Riviera replaced arrivals to the island of Lesbos  for visits to Kavala .

Silversea Cruises decided to make changes in the itineraries replacing visits to Lesbos.

Cruise operators have indicated that changes in the routes will continue indefinitely until the situation improves.  The war and terrorist attacks is affecting cruises in Mediterranean and companies like Costa Cruises have already canceled all visits to Istanbul .
