Cruise ship passenger mugged in Funchal

A cruise ship passenger was assaulted and robbed in Funchal, Madeira reports Diario. The newspaper states that on Sunday, October 9, a Danish female cruise passenger was approached by a drug addict who asked her for money. After refusing to give him cash, the man grabbed her arm and threatened to kill her.  The petrified victim give him her wallet that contained about 200 euros ID and credit cards. The incident happened next to one of Funchal's most popular sightseeing attractions, Madeira Cable Car. The incident was reported to the Police. Authorities didn’t mention on which cruise ship passenger arrived in Funchal. Four cruise ship were docked at the port on October 9, MSC Musica, Oceana Sirena, Independence of the Seas and Saga Pearl 2.
