Cunard introduced the Queen Anne’s HR Opening Team as they prepare for the ship's inaugural voyage. This team is dedicated to supporting the crew in launching Queen Anne into service, ensuring the delivery of Cunard's renowned White Star Service to guests. The HR Team are the first full team working at Queen Anne’s shipyard in Venice.

Here are the team members and their thoughts on the Cunard’s newest ocean liner:

Stuart Smart – HR Manager:
“It is an absolute privilege to welcome our 1,226 crew members from across the globe, contributing to the launch of the magnificent Queen Anne. With the HR team now complete, we're focused on supporting our crew, readying the ship, and conducting our famed White Star Service training. Queen Anne is set to be a splendid addition to our fleet, thanks to the extensive efforts of our ship’s company.”

Rachel Wallis – Crew Services Manager:
“This is a thrilling time for Cunard as we anticipate operating four ships. I’m immensely proud to be part of the Queen Anne’s debut team. Welcoming both returning colleagues and new recruits is a joy. Witnessing the ship spring to life with the arrival of the crew is truly special. I eagerly await the bustling activity along Burma Road and the profound sense of accomplishment we’ll share as we embark with our first guests.”

Caren Kruger – Learning and Development Officer:
“I am incredibly proud to join the pioneering team aboard Queen Anne. Welcoming new and familiar crew members to the shipyard is exhilarating. Although it's my first experience with a new build and the uncertainties it brings, the adventure has been fantastic, supported immensely by both ship and shore teams. I’m excited to lead the ‘Welcome to Queen Anne’ training, helping to integrate our crew into the ship's operations and contributing to the next chapter in Cunard’s history.”

Maria Cortes – Assistant Manager, Payroll Services:
“I’m thrilled to be at the shipyard, eagerly preparing to warmly welcome our crew aboard Queen Anne and ensure their smooth transition.”

Mohammed Halim – Crew Administrator:
“Being part of this extraordinary project is incredibly rewarding. Our team, drawn from around the world, is united in crafting lasting memories for both our colleagues and guests. It’s truly beautiful to be involved in such a significant endeavor.”

Vladimir Petrovic – Crew & Welfare Manager:
“I am extremely excited and honored to contribute to the construction and launch of Cunard’s 249th ship. Queen Anne will serve as a new home away from home for her crew, and I am delighted to welcome our new colleagues into the Cunard family.”
