Cunard Line Celebrates its 175th Anniversary in Barcelona

The company will present " Round the World 2016 "for attendees to experience first hand the legendary routes that cover the ships in its fleet, the three queens Queen Mary 2 , Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth

Cunard the company with more tradition and history made with almost a century of experience in cruise liners, in Barcelona celebrates its 175 years of service, with the visit of one of his queens, the Queen Victoria. Also invited to a formal dinner to be held at the exclusive restaurant Verandah to be attended by travel agents, general press and special guests.

The company will present " Round the World 2016 "for attendees to experience first hand the legendary routes that cover the ships in its fleet, the three queens Queen Mary 2 , Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth and innovations for next year 2017.

Guests can learn about the craft, and enjoy a guided tour by Queen Victoria and 21:30 will give way to dinner.

The new catalog covers a little of the history of the shipping company that since 1839 has traveled the seas and oceans of the world, showing off their luxury services on board as are the facilities, the warm service provided by its crew, elegance and comfort of its suites and cabins as well as a refined cuisine that rivals the best restaurants in the world.

For the 2017 season, the three queens offer different cruise itineraries around the world. The Queen Mary 2 will live a "Legend 5 continents", making a tour of 27 countries, 39 ports of call, 38 World Heritage discovering the natural wonders of the lush Amazon jungle and the imposing desert, through the breathtaking Great Australian Barrier Reef, for 121 days, from January 10 to May 10.

The Queen Victoria will undertake the "Journey by three oceans," sailing across the Atlantic to the Americas, reaching the Pacific with Australia and New Zealand destination. After a fascinating tour of the Asian coast, you will discover the Indian Ocean Islands and finally to the Cape of Good Hope and skirting the African coast back home. Attendees will visit 23 countries, 37 ports of call and 38 World Heritage sites during 121 days from January 10 to May 10.

Finally, the Queen Elizabeth, "the rising sun" will be directed, The tour will start coming to the African and Australian coast, this queen focuses on the rich Asian diversity with a complete tour of Japan. During his rise to Southampton, will make stops along the exotic Arabian peninsula and the Mare Nostrum, the Mediterranean. The journey will last 122 days from January 10 to May 11, knowing 25 countries, 42 ports of call and 40 World Heritage Sites.
